The Tutchstone family was so great to work with on this project! They had already picked the materials/look they wanted for their project based off of one of the suppliers photo booklets, and were looking for ideas on how to execute their vision. Their main concern was having the hill separating the patio from the top section of the yard, and having to walk around and up the slope of the yard to get to the upper section. Another aspect to their project was if there would be a wall, that they would want to be able to make sure they could see their daughter playing on the swing set from the patio. In turn, we were able to give them a design that allowed for a set of steps to flow directly to the upper section while also maintaining a clean sight-line so that they could see their daughter playing from sitting on the patio. We had our lovely concrete specialist sub-contractor come excavate and pour a new patio for them while we handled the rest of the build. This was one of our first times installing lights on a project and believe it really turned out well. In particular, we cannot wait to see how the up-lighting gets even better as those two trees mature!
